Dr Kylie Hunter wins Sydney Health Partners 2025 Early Career Research Award
Dr Kylie Hunter has been recognised for TOPCHILDs individual participant data meta-analysis and won the Sydney Health Partners 2025 Early Career Research Award for Using Research to Change Health Practice!
On the 17th of September 2025, Sydney Health Partners (SHP), celebrated 10 years of accelerating the translation of research into real-world outcomes. Since becoming NHMRC-accredited in as a Translation Research Centre in 2015, SHP has worked with its partners to remove barriers and embed evidence-based research into everyday clinical practice. The event was time to reflect on achievements to date, lessons learnt, and what lies ahead for SHP. Keynote speakers included Prof Steve Wesselingh, CEO of the NHMRC, and Prof John Prins, recently appointed Dean for FMH at University of Sydney, complemented by excellent panel discussions.
Recognising the impact to change health practice TOPCHILD has had, Dr Kylie Hunter was awarded the Sydney Health Partners 2025 Early Career Research Award for Using Research to Change Health Practice. Dr Jonathan Williams, TOPCHILD Steering Group Member, was able to attend and accept this on her behalf. We congratulate all of the other Early Career Research Award winners too and encourage you to read more about the award winners HERE.
We look forward to working further with Sydney Health Partners in the future, to help translate best-practice evidence synthesis projects.
